Hi, you need to center object to 0,0,0 and export in .x format "prop.x" and "rudder.x".

Also you can export entire ship model with prop and rudder, but you need to rename prop and rudder correctly to allow VS detect it (rename objects in your 3D design software before export).

Please read this, is very helpfull: http://www.hangsim.com/virtual-sailor/c ... hicles.php

And see "The vehicle mesh file - vehicle.x" section to learn about of naming ship parts before export the "boat.x" model.

All tags (names of objects to be recognized by VS) of possible parts to export are there :)

Regards

I am interested in how to model props, rudder and thruster to work in VSNG, using sketchup to model, but not sure how to ensure they are moving/working in VS.
