Hosting a multiplayer session

by lucasudd » Thu Sep 15, 2022 7:11 pm

Hello,

I've now several times tried to host a multiplayer session, with no luck. I spawn in to my scenery (cape_verde), spawns two rangers for me and my friend. Then opens the Connect-menu, and starts to host a session with port 2507 in lobby 1. When my friend tries to join, he indeed finds my session, but when trying to join, nothing happens. We've tried this several times, with different scenarios. We have the same sceneries, and same boats...

I even tried to portforward the port 2507, even that didn't work. The manuals are quite shy to guide you in how to actually set this up - so I thought that I'll ask the community. What can I do? What should I do? Is connecting with hamachi an alternative?
