OPENCPN Ship GPS location incorrect
Hello, My issue is that my OPENCPN location (through VSNG NMEA connection) is incorrect. For example if I am at the dock in a port (my VSN NG Map shows this because that is where my ship is in the simulator) but OPENCPN will show me half a mile away (.5nm). This cannot be used during navigation for ...

Re: Scenery buildings, objects, ships floating in the sky?
I have exactly the same problem, even including the California Morro Bay default scenery. I've been in touch with Ilan, and he shared your suggestions regarding moving to X86. He also suggested moving latest vsmin update into VSF. So I managed to fix the problem mostly, one scenery area still has f...

Scenery buildings, objects, ships floating in the sky?
Hello recently I have had an issue with scenery buildings, objects, and ships floating in the sky. I've uninstalled the scenery, reinstalled it, uninstalled the game completely, reinstalled it, but still the issue persists. I use robert neath's scenery. Even the default Cape Verde scenery that comes...

Camera position hide - Feature request
First off I would like to say I am greatly impressed with VS NG, a job well done it is. Now on to the reason for this post, I've had this issue since sailing VSF... Its that big fat triangle that is placed over your vessel's position when using the nautical map or ECDIS. This arrow/triangle covers t...

Tried that doesnt change anything...Sailorjohn wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 3:24 am You can always drive vehicles on land, but what you have disabled is 'land on vehicles'. Restore that, and make sure you have 'check object collision' also enabled, and your ship will not pass thru objects.

Dock/Object collision...
For starters I use Rob's VSF addons for scenery, ports, and ships. I disabled the option to drive vehicles on ground but when docking or maneuvering out of port I'll go through the pier with no damage to the ship. Any fixes?

Is AI traffic a thing?
Hello,
I am wondering if you can have AI traffic sailing around ports like you do with FSX/Xplane. Is there an addon or option that exists to have traffic (AI)? Thanks

Ships accelerate/decelerate too fast. FIX?
Hello, as the title implies im wondering if anyone has found a fix for the acceleration rate of the ships and deceleration. There's no way a 300,000 ton ship will pick up ten knots of speed in under .25 of a mile for example.... (a bit of an exaggeration but point stated). Does anyone know of a way ...
