Lighting question

I tried adding another cabin light to a sailboat, but the texture was not lit. I mean, the surface of the sailboat did not change into a "lit" surface. The light could be seen, though. How to actually do it?

Have you checked the instructions of creating vehicles?

Source Lighting is the best option for adding new lights to ships what you want to help illuminate areas.

To me this is one of the best features in VSNG. In the lights.cfg the light needs to for example YellowSource or WhiteSource

Below are two examples with the lights enabled on one side and off the other - to me this makes sailing at night so much better, but be aware the game is only capable of loading 8 of these lights at a single time, other ships and scenery combined.

Thanks Rob. It did the trick. I just couldn't find WhiteSource and YellowSource listed anywhere.
