I have an issue where a big wave splash is spawning constantly in front of my ships, even when stationary and even when in calm waters, does anyone know how I can disable this?

Open the folder for that vessel, click on Vehicle.cfg and look for splash threshold. Increase the value of splash threshold; check result ingame, and adjust threshold as necessary.
