Crashing when using freeze motion/docking

I’ve seemed to have run into an issue in Virtual sailor. My game runs very high fps with zero issues and literally has no problem until I hit freeze motion/ dock to try and tie up the ship. When I hit either of those the game freezes and crashes I’m not sure why. Any ideas? Thank you!
