The new Hinckley 34

Author: Steve Sharp

In the smooth acceleration of her next generation twin jets you feel the heart-pumping innovation of Hinckley design and engineering at its very best. This Hinckley flies up to 32 knots. And she goes wherever you please with just 22 inches of draft. Make a date with the 34 you'll need the rods for early morning angling, the tube for an afternoon of thrilling the kids. At sunset, the 34 will entertain you and your friends for a harbor cruise. True, there's an impressive hull structure supporting all this, and fingertip Jetstick control of all of that power and energy. But best of all, this is a Hinckley from stem to stern and even though she is brand new, we think you'll find you already know her by heart.

The Turkish ferry MV Goztepe

Turkish ferry MV Goztepe

Göztepe is a neighborhood of Izmir, situated on the southern shore of the Gulf of Izmir, administratively within the boundaries of the metropolitan district of Konak.

The neighborhood is also one of the eight quays of Izmir's urban ferry services operated by Izdeniz.

It is notable for its football team Göztepe A.S. which, although currently playing in the Turkish Third League and experiencing difficulties, boasts of remarkable past glories such as that of being the first Turkish football club to ever reach a semi-final in a European Club Competition and still attracts a passionate and dedicated fan base.

In Ottoman times, the alternative Greek name for Göztepe was "Enopi" and the area was a rich suburb inhabited principally by richer Greeks of Izmir.

The Miss Behave 16' GarWood Speedster

Author: Steve Sharp

It has been said that the 16 foot Gar Wood speedster is, pound for pound, the most valuable classic production speed boat in the world.

Miss Behave is certainly the most well known of the original five speedsters brought to the St. Lawrence in 1935.

Over the years, a number of copies of the boat have been produced, both on the St. Lawrence and abroad. An original cost roughly $1,340.00 when new, including a Gray Fireball Engine.
