Welcome to this
scenery V1.0 of Greece and its islands.
In this first
version, you can navigate in the following areas: Athens
(Pireas, Perama, Paloukia...), part of the Saronic Islands
(Aigina and Agkistri, all Cyclades, part of the Dodecanese
Islands. (Rodhes, Symi, Chalki ...)
Objects, beacons,
lighthouses have been precisely positioned with my digital
nautical charts.
The Color, flashing frequency, color sector
are respected.
The most important reefs and shoals have been
added, some small islands as well.
This fanstastic and
meticulous work was done by
Pierre GENETE.
This work is still being updated and progressed, and
periodic updates may appear from time to time, however its
extent is amazing, and also its accuracy in terms of locations,
navigational aids and size.
After installing, the scenery
will be located at Scenery\Greece_New folder, inside there is
user manual PDF at the documents folder.

This scenery is designed to be used with Ilan Papini's Vehicle simulator (it is not compatible with Virtual
Sailor).
It makes extensive use of autogen objects and animated traffic, so it may be a little demanding with old
computers.
Dozens of harbors and marinas, as well as many airports are included.
It covers the entire territory of Spain, Portugal, as well as some areas of South France, Morocco and Algeria.
These are some of the special features of this scenery:
- Large and complex library of aurogen objects to create a living populated scenery.
- Animated traffic, You'll find maritime traffic both in harbors and at open seas, as well as airplanes and
helicopters.
- Landclass textures uncluding urban areas, created by using real data from European Space Agency data.
- Many scenery sounds.
- New visual effects for lighthouses, sky and new environment sounds.
- It covers a large area with detail, including many large harbors, airports, windfarms, lighthouses...
- Multiple ship/plane wrecks scattered on the sea bottom all over the secenery.

This scenery is the result of 18
months of hard work, including reasearch, careful and
attentive design, clever and ingenius creation, it is indeed a
class of its own and a must have for any VSF user.
