USS Nimitz (CVN-68) is a supercarrier of the
United States Navy, and the lead ship of her class. One of the
largest warships in the world, she was laid down, launched, and
commissioned as CVAN-68, "aircraft carrier, attack, nuclear
powered", but she was later redesignated as CVN-68, "aircraft
carrier, multi-mission, nuclear-powered", on 30 June 1975, as
part of a fleet-wide realignment that year.
The ship was
named after World War II Pacific fleet commander Chester W.
Nimitz, USN, (1885–1966), who was the Navy's third fleet
admiral. Nimitz had her homeport at Naval Station Norfolk until
1987, when she was relocated to Naval Station Bremerton in
Washington (now part of Naval Base Kitsap). Following her
Refueling and Complex Overhaul in 2001, her home port was
changed to Naval Air Station North Island in San Diego County,
California. The home port of Nimitz was again moved to Naval
Station Everett in Washington in 2012.
In January 2015,
Nimitz changed home port from Everett back to Naval Base
Kitsap.[5] With the inactivation of USS Enterprise in 2012 and
decommissioning in 2017, Nimitz is now the oldest U.S. aircraft
carrier in service, and the oldest serving aircraft carrier in

Javier Fernandez has made some of the best add-ons for
VSF, his works are distiguished by efficiency, detail and
amazing realism.
Due to changes in VSF, some of the parts
used in this ship had to be modied, this was done carefully and
diligently by Pascal Dumat who is one of the best add on makers
for VSF.

HMAS Anzac is the first of her class and a modern warship, capable of operating in a multi-threat environment. Anzac's design is based on the German Meko 200 Class that uses modular construction methods. A feature of this method was the ability to share the construction of the 8 Australian and 2 New Zealand vessels throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Anzac is fitted with an advanced package of air surveillance radars; hull mounted sonar and electronic support systems that interface with state-of-the-art weapons systems. Anzac's armament comprises a five-inch (127-mm) gun, Harpoon missiles, Evolved Sea Sparrow Missiles and Ship Launched Torpedoes.
The ship can embark a multi-role Sikorsky S-70B-2 Seahawk helicopter to enhance anti-submarine, anti-surface warfare and Search and Rescue capabilities. Embarkation of a helicopter also provides the ship with the capability to deliver air-launched torpedoes.

Without a doubt, the favorite of many, the S.S.
Rotterdam. After 38 years, having settled into
into old age, she was finally retired from
Holland America Line service on September 30,
1997.
Although said so many times, she was and is the
Grande Dame of Ocean liners.

The "Bremen" is a
specially built ice-strengthened eco-cruise ship
which makes regular tours from South America to
the Falklands and other South Atlantic islands as
well as to the Antarctic Peninsula.
She was launched in 1990 as the "Frontier
Spirit" but renamed in the mid 1990's when
she was purchased by a German company.
She has a helicopter pad on her top deck and
carries several zodiacs for landing tourists at
remote locations.

The "Ever Renown" is
the 5th of the 10 R-types of Evergreen.
The "Ever Renown" sailed on the RWW
service of Evergreen for years, later she changed
it to the RWE service and in february 2002 she'll
join the NUE service of Evergreen.
She's 294.13 m long, 32.22 m wide and she has a
draft of 12.8 meters.
She bears the Panamanian flag and she's built in
Japan in 1994.
She is able to carry 4229 TEU's and on the last
photo you see her at her
maximum load arriving in Rotterdam, NL from
Colombo, Sri Lanka.

la Mota is one of the most impressive ships
ever created for Virtual Sailor. "Here
I send you the last vessel I was like master.
Unfortunatly, now it does not exist.
This is my contribution to many seamans using your
simulator as a way to remember former times.
But also, I think she is an important model to consider
your VS a simulator as a real simulator for seaman
students using it like a training tool .
The behaviour is quite similar to the real one. If you
consider it is easy to handle a vessel like this, try to
go with this vessel into Algeciras or Cádiz Port".
